Vice President of Singer Corporation and Chairman & Managing Director of Singer Bangladesh Limited Mr. Mahbub Jamil and Senior Vice President of Fareea Lara Foundation Mr. Anwar Hossain Khan singed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a simple ceremony at Singer Corporate Office. Among others Management Committee Members of Singer and Executive Director of the Foundation eminent writer Selina Hossain attended the ceremony.

As per the agreement Singer will sponsor five bed health care unit for critical pregnant women along with ultra sonogram, ECG and X-Ray machines at the existing mother and child care centre of the Foundation at Sreepur. Singer will also sponsor training and education of village health workers and traditional birth attendants at the area. People of the locality who are mostly deprived of these health facilities will be enormously benefited from this program.
